Using Mologogo with Twitter

Getting setup on your phone:

  1. Download the latest version of Mologogo for Nextel/Boost v.1.3 here
  2. Follow instructions here to install and update your client
  3. After starting and loading Mologogo, hit the menu button and go to the Twitter menu and populate your Twitter account information
  4. Turn the 'MoloTwit' feature on and watch Twitter for updates
  5. MoloTwit will send a location message every time you turn on the app or are on the move

To add Twitter messaging to your phone:

  1. Go to the main menu on your Mologogo phone by pushing the Menu button (usually a stack of horizontal lines)
  2. Select "Messaging"
  3. While in the Messaging menu choose "Edit"
  4. Switch to Alpha/ABC input mode and enter twitter@twitter.com as a friend, and hit "Save"
  5. Log into your Twitter account on the web and select "Settings"
  6. Then select "Phone & IM"
  7. Type in your IM address as [mologogo username]@messaging.mologogo.com and select the drop down "Jabber"
  8. Get the confirmation code and write it down
  9. Go back to Mologogo on your phone
  10. Go to your Mologogo Menu Messaging and select "Molotwit a message"
  11. Switch to ALPHA/ABC to enter your confirmation code from Twitter (noted above)
  12. You should get a "That worked" message back from Twitter
  13. Now type "On" in your into the chat window to Twitter@twitter.com and you should be ready to send and receive messages from Mologogo on your phone
  14. Send a message to Twitter and check your Twitter homepage to see if it worked.
  15. You are now MoloTwit enabled.
